ULITSA SEZAM

Bringing Sesame Street to Russia

Combatting cultural differences, political strife, and educational disagreements, Natasha pushed forward to create puppet magic with a team of hundreds of Russian artists and producers. “Ulitsa Sezam” (Sesame Street, in Russian) became a hit show, airing in primetime, reaching millions of families on Russia’s two largest television networks, from October 1996 and continued broadcasting for over a decade.
